Driving Test at Halfords Reduces Waiting Lists

The Driving Standards Agency has introduced a new measure to help reduce the long waiting times that provisional licence learners face for a practical car assessment with a DSA examiner.

From Feburary 5th 2013, they will be conducting driving tests at Halfords stores across the UK. The move has been approved by the department of transport minister, and will also mean that practical car tests will be much closer to more candidates especially in the rural areas.

You will still have to book the test via the DSA website and expect a normal examiner not Halfords staff to conduct the assessment.

Important! If you are not learning to drive with an instructor, it is important that BOTH you and the person teaching you to drive read The DSA official test guide, this book will greatly increase your chance of passing the driving test without spending too much money on lessons.
